Vacation with a Purpose: April 29 - May 7, 2011 -

Our goal, set by the Mission Director, was to get the new floor completed for "Nest of love" (www.nestoflovedr.com).  In the pouring rain on a few days we moved loads of dirt, leveled floors, bent rebar and helped pour cement! Our trip will included tours of existing villages, local children’s hospital, a lunch for 300 children and an afternoon of soccer and baseball with them. We even had time to ride the "zip-line!". This year's team included a few veterans to our team, and many new hands as well. Everyone had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Hotel in Puerta Plata and plan to use it again next spring.
